Futsal Winter Programme
We all know that the months of January and February can bring the harshest weather of the year, very often with pitches flooded and unplayable. That prompted our past Chairman and current Treasurer, Ken Hooper, to put together a ‘Winter Programme’, very closely based on Futsal, to provide indoor football for Under 8 and 9 teams.
Held at Point4 in Hereford, it is all about fun and the opportunity for young players to hone their skills. Each week teams have two games and play different teams. There are no trophies or league tables, this is just for fun.
After the Covid pandemic forced cancellations in the last 2 years we are planning to resume in Jan/Feb 2023. All clubs have been invited to participate and this time we hope to include the Under 7’s as well as 8’s and 9’s.
