At the start of 23/24 season the HJFL participated in the FA trial regarding no heading and shared our feedback with them. The FA have now confirmed the plan to remove heading from games, phased as follows over the next 3 seasons;
- Season 24/25 – Under 7,8 and 9 Leagues
- Season 25/26 – Under 10 league
- Season 26/27 – Under 11 league
