The Junior League’s Futsal event which ran every weekend in January ’23 was very positively received by all the teams who entered. The event, held at Point4 in Hereford, returned after 2 years enforced absence due to Covid so was a new experience to most teams. Feedback from teams is that all would like to take part again next year and would also recommend to other teams.
Big thanks to all on the Junior League committee who gave their time to help run the days but particular thanks to Sharon Fellowes and Mike Tompkins for coordinating the fixtures and administration. Based on the positive feedback from teams this time, it is envisaged that the event will take place again next year and hopefully with more teams and over an extended period. The League plans to hold a ‘taster’ day in September to encourage new teams to experience Futsal and if they enjoy it take part in Futsal 2024.
